Vanilla Slim Shake

A slimmer waistline can dramatically reduce the harmful symptoms of diabetes. The protein and fiber in this cool, fresh vanilla slim shake can help keep you feeling full for hours while being low in fat and calories.

Makes 2 servings

4 ice cubes
½ cup low-fat vanilla greek yogurt
3 tablespoons hemp seed (raw, shelled)
1 small banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup cucumber, sliced and peeled
½ cup skim milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

In a blender, grind the ice cubes, strawberries and milk on high. Once thoroughly pureed, add the remaining ingredients and blend on medium speed.
